About

Fiesta is a craft Mexican taqueria and casual Latin bar just behind the Opera House, built for tacos, friends, birthdays, date nights, expat meetups, and good-mood evenings.
Please see our menu here.We take pride in our homemade traditional (nixtamal) corn tortillas for the delicious tacos. We also import Mexican chillies to make our house-made chipotle and pineapple-habanero hot sauces, which we serve for free in our restaurant, and you can order a few bottles to take home.

Browse our Tacos and choose your favourite tortilla; we recommend our special homemade traditional ones;

Special Tacos
Making Mexican food properly this far from Mexico takes some work.
We use masa harina to make our corn tortillas and imported Mexican chillies for our house sauces.
Popular proteins include refried beans, chorizo (marinated minced pork), chicken Tinga, barbacoa (slow-cooked beef), our vegan special soyrizo, and a Fiesta's cult favourite Chicken Cheeseburger Taco.
The current kitchen special is our trio of Birria Tacos.Made by people obsessed with tacos
Fiesta's menu is developed by chef and food writer Dito, after years of cooking, researching and writing about Mexican food, particularly tacos, tortillas and salsa.
